What we do

Onyx Advisory supports international manufacturers with the commercial, documentary and compliance work that sits around a cross-border transaction. The work is scoped. The record is written down.

Offerings

01

Cross-border contract integration

International contracts fail less often on price than on incomplete files: unclear Incoterms, missing supporting documents, payment terms that a bank cannot process, or delivery language that does not match the logistics plan.

We structure and coordinate commercial contracts between manufacturers and counterparties so the legal, documentary and operational pieces can be read as one file.

  • Alignment of commercial terms with applicable trade-control and documentation standards
  • Coordination of supporting papers across more than one jurisdiction
  • A single working record of what has been agreed, by whom, and on what conditions

Relevant trade control registrations and licences available on request to verified counterparties.

02

Regulatory compliance

Compliance work is useful only if it can be shown. We help counterparties assemble the diligence and documentary trail that ordinary banking and institutional review processes expect to see.

The aim is not a longer checklist. It is a file that a third party can follow without a conversation to explain it.

  • Counterparty and documentation reviews before sensitive material is exchanged
  • Mapping of applicable UK and international trade rules to the specific engagement
  • Retention of a clear commercial audit trail for payment and settlement arrangements

03

Industrial supply coordination

Manufacturers often inherit localisation or investment obligations that sit beside the supply contract rather than inside it. Those obligations still have to be met on a timetable.

We help align procurement, delivery and investment commitments with the commercial and regulatory requirements of each engagement, so operations and documentation do not drift apart.

  • Coordination of procurement and delivery obligations across the parties to a contract
  • Review of localisation or investment language against what can actually be performed
  • A working sequence from enquiry to documented delivery

Engagements

References on request

Client names, outcomes and working papers are not published on this website. Where prior work can be discussed, that is done directly with the requesting organisation, after it has been identified.

No public case studies

Industrial counterparties rarely want their arrangements described on a public site. We treat that preference as a professional default.

Verified access

Details that would identify a party, a licence position or a transaction are shared only after the requesting organisation has been identified.

Written record

Where we do work, the file is kept in a form that can be produced later: contracts, correspondence and the checks that were made.

Discuss a specific engagement

If you already have jurisdictions, counterparties or a draft contract, that is enough to start. We will tell you promptly whether the matter is in scope.
